This official FC Barcelona shirt was worn by Lionel Messi during a pre-season friendly against Manchester United in August 2012.

Signed by Messi and fully authenticated by Fabricks, this is an incredibly rare opportunity to own a match-worn & signed shirt from one of the greatest footballers ever to play the game. 

The Argentine was at his peak – the match took place in the middle of his record-breaking 91-goal calendar year, and he would go on to win a then unprecedented fourth Ballon d’Or just a few months later.

Wearing his iconic #10, Messi started the match against United alongside Barça greats like Andrés Iniesta, Sergio Busquets and Carles Puyol, putting in a dominant playmaking display before being substituted at half-time.

Despite his name not being printed on the shirt – common for pre-season matches – the pitch-marking stains from a tackle by Antonio Valencia make it easy to authenticate against archive footage.

Please note that the print from the sleeve detailing has transferred onto the fabric of both sleeves, while the blue shoulder prints have a slightly sticky texture.
